My Top 5 Speedy Vegetarian Dinners.

Hello Everyone hope your all well, for today’s post I will be sharing my favourite vegetarian dinners. Now I have recently become a vegetarian on the grounds of watching a horrific slaughter-house video that just made me think about eating meat, now I am currently just vegetarian and not gone all out vegan, even though I need to stay away from dairy products anyway since I am also lactose intolerant. So When I first started this diet I was really struggling on what to eat for dinner, since that is when my family would eat meat products mainly, so I popped to my local supermarket which is waitrose and picked up a little meat alternative bits and these are the Top 5 things I like to have if I’m in a rush or I just don’t feel like cooking from scratch.

Linda McCartney vegetarian sausages.vegetarian-sausages-packshot

Now I was really amazed by these now I’m not actually not too keen on normal pork sausages, so I was comprehensive when I got these, but they are the best sausages I have ever had they are full with so much flavour, I normally think there is a stigma attached to vegetarian/ vegan foods that they are not going to be tasty, but these was better than the real deal in my opinion. I partnered these with a good helping of mash potato and a small tin of baked beans. It has become one of my favourite meals since starting this diet.

Quorn chicken and Mushroom Pie.

SCY250This is another great comfort food favourite of mine that I thought I would miss with not eating meat, but when I found this in waitrose I just had to try it and it really was just as good if not better than the real deal. I partnered this one with some buttery mashed potato and Heinz Five Beans Baked beans, and it was super yummy.

Linda McCartney vegetarian country pies.

deep-dish-country-pies-packshotAnother product from Linda McCartney food, you may see quite a few in this post because I just think that these products taste the best out of the other products on the market. Now this one is another that is so full of flavour it is unreal how much I love it. I partner this one with some mash and green vegetables like green beans etc.

Linda McCartney vegetarian mushroom and mozzarella burgers.mushroom-spinach-burgers-packshot

These are really tasty and have a lot of flavour that is a recurring aspect to the Linda
McCartney range, now I don’t normally like burgers, But I was intrigued to try these due to how good the rest of the products are so I tried them and loved them they are super yummy. I loved mine in a brioche bun with a slice of tomato and some chips.

Homemade Pasta Bake.

This one is really easy to make and you just really need 3 ingredients which is Cooked Pasta, Chopped tomatoes and cheese. You add the tomatoes and pasta in a baking dish then add the grated cheese on top and cook for about 20 minuets, or when the cheese melts and starts to brown. You can also add some herbs in with the tomatoes to add some flavour. This is great because it is quick and easy, doesn’t take too many ingrediants and tastes amazing, it is one of my favourites.

So these was my top 5 favourite vegetarian Dinners, I hope you found this useful and enjoyed this post. This was not a paid promotion in any way, and all of the opinions in this post are of my own. All Images have been linked to their rightful owners.

I-got U smart Q- band 62 activity tracker, review.

Hello everyone today I will be posting my review on my brand new little gadget I got mine off of amazon prime now, now as I work as a healthcare assistant and work 12 hour shifts I’ve always been interested in finding out how many steps I would do throughout the day, also I have always been interested in getting one of the £80+ fit bits but didn’t want to pay the price tag, so I looked on amazon for a cheaper make and found this little one for only £33, so I thought I would give it a try, since it has the majority of the same features such as a uv sensor, heart rate monitor, sleep & steps tracker, calories burned and distance traveled monitor and even a UV ray sensor to tell you when to and what spf you should apply to be protected. It all works through an app you can download to your phone this works very well and is easy to navigate, the layout is simple and it’s easy to track all of the activities you’ve done through out the day and night. The sleep monitor is the one that impressed me the most, it records how deep you slept through out the night and at which points you was in light, deep and even when your in the REM ( rapid eye movement) stage of sleep, which for a sufferer of night terrors such as myself, is a great thing to check up on since, the attacks come on when in the NREM (non rapid eye movement) stage of sleep. The steps appear on the watches screen as you wear it through out the day, also the watch pops up with any texts, calls and notifications that come up on your phone so you always know when something it going on your phone since it gives you a little nudge when you have one. Another good feature is the silent alarm On the app where you can set an alarm what will only wake you up since you can wear the watch at night if you set the alarm it will vibrate there for waking you up but not disturbing anyone else, also you have to go on your phone and open up the app to turn off the alarm there for not letting you sleep in or snooze. It is also IPX7 waterproof. It’s battery life is amazing also on one charge I find it lasts for about 5-7 days, depending on how much I use it in a day. So overall I give the product ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I would definitely recommend this fitness tracker to anyone thats in the market for a cheaper alternative to the Fit Bit, I will link the I-got u life activity tracker below. Thank you for taking the time to read my post, and if you’ve got this product let me know what you think of it in the comments section.

Tips for getting a good night sleep.

Hello everyone hope your all well today I will be sharing some tips on how to get a good night sleep, now these all work for me but may not work for everyone so here is my top tips for a good night sleep.

This one is a must for me since I always sleep my best once I have fresh clean bedding. I recently brought this set from George in Asda and I’ve fallen in love with it.

This one is my favourite ways to get off to sleep, I like to use some lush bath bombs and bubble bars with some essential oils in to help get you off to sleep, like the icicle baby bot bath bomb or the baa bar bubble bar.

I also like to use lavender oil on pressure points behind my ears and on my wrist, this calms and relaxes you ready for bed.

This one usually works on me I search for some sleep therapy Music on you tube and it normally sends me off right away. This is great for your overall health and wellbeing, but can also help you have a better night sleep, I also have a bottle of water next to me at all times during the night because I normally wake up in the middle of the night extremely thirsty.
So these was some of the things that I like to do to help me get a good night sleep, they may not work for everyone but they all work for me. Thank you for reading.

8 Ways To combat Travel Sickness.

Hello everyone hope your all well, today I will be writing about some ways you can combat travel sickness. I have suffered with this my whole life and still do today now short distances are fine but if they are longer than a couple of miles then it becomes a problem and buses are just the worse. But over the 20 years of having it I’ve been able to find some ways to help it, so I thought I would share them with you, so here they are.

  1. Mints or hard boiled sweets– Now this one really helps, I love to suck on a mint or sweet whilst on a long car journey, and I found it really helps, it’s because mint naturally soothes the stomach and helps ease nausea.
  2. Water– This one may be self explanatory but I always try to have a bottle of water with me on any journey, since you can take slow sips and this normally cures my nausea straight away.
  3. Anti travel sickness medication– This isn’t the best one out there since some on the tablets used to make me feel sick before we even got going, as you had to chew them and they tasted disgusting. However last year I tried some kwells anti sickness tablets and they really worked, you had the choice to swallow or chew, so no more nasty taste.
  4. Distraction– Now this one may or may not work as it depends on what distraction it is but I like to listen to music with my headphones on or an audio book, but only use headphones as a passenger, but try and avoid looking down, this can cause more severe nausea and has been my down fall many times.
  5. Ginger biscuits– This one may sound slightly odd, and probably isn’t going to be great if you don’t like the taste of ginger, but ginger is proven to reduce the feeling of nausea in a person and therefore I sometimes like to bring a few with me in a bag just in case, plus I’ve been a life saver a number of times since my little sisters and mum all suffer from travel sickness so it’s been Hannah to the rescue on a number of occasions.
  6. Deep breaths– An Oldie but goodie one here but it actually works open a window of the car and just take nice long deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth.
  7. Anti sickness wristbands- I used to use these when I was younger they are great for kids, they are a band with a little smooth ball on and you wear them on the wrist and they press a pressure point in your wrists that cures sickness, now I’m sure they may not work on everybody but they used to work on me, and not just motion sickness but for any when else you get nausea.
  8. Sleep– Now if you suffer with motion sickness severely  like I did then you may want to think about getting l some sleep whilst on a journey instead of fighting the need to fall asleep as I used to on long journey, this just for passengers only though so no falling asleep at the wheel.

So these was some ways you can combat the dreaded travel sickness, these are some of the ways that works on me and my travel sickness, but if you have anymore let me know in the comments, I hope you found this useful and don’t forget to like and share.

Thank you.

5 ways to relax and unwind.

Hello everyone hope your all well, today I will be sharing the ways I like to relax and unwind after a long hard day, because sometimes you just need some time for yourself, so these are the ways I like to do it.

  2. Knitting- This one may seem a little old fashioned for my generation but I recently brought a starter knitting kit and have been obsessed with it ever since, and it is surprisely really relaxing and chills me out big time.
  3. Hot bubble bath- This is my favourite way to relax, nothing is better than a nice hot bubble bath especially if you use lush products.
  4. Face/ hair mask- This one goes along with the bath so you sit in there read a book and just soak whilst your face/hair mask is doing its thing.
  5. Chill out listening to music- This one is a good one I like to just lay on my bed, put my headphones in and pick a playlist on Spotify and close my eyes and just take in the music, my favourite chill out artist is Ed sheeran or James Bay.Here is some of my favourite playlists on Spotify-
